Source Smarter, Buy Better: Inside Danielle Emon China Tours
Posted on 09 October 2026
Building a product-based business takes more than a great idea. It takes finding suppliers who understand your goals, asking the right questions, and knowing how sourcing decisions affect your costs and your ability to grow.
That is why I created Danielle Emon China Tours.
Drawing on my years of experience in international sourcing and the fashion industry, I guide entrepreneurs through a sourcing experience designed to help them make more informed buying and manufacturing decisions.
More than a buying trip
Danielle Emon China Tours includes five immersive days of guided sourcing and business education. Participants visit factories, wholesale markets, and showrooms, with introductions to manufacturers, suppliers, and packaging vendors.
But access is only part of the experience. My goal is to help participants understand how to evaluate the opportunities in front of them.
Throughout the tour, we explore product sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, pricing, minimum order quantities, shipping logistics, and manufacturing best practices. Translation assistance is available where needed, and participants have opportunities to connect with fellow entrepreneurs.
Who the experience is for
These tours are designed for boutique owners, jewelry designers, fashion brands, e-commerce businesses, and other product-based entrepreneurs.
Whether you are launching your first product line or looking to strengthen an established business, the questions often overlap: Where should I source? How do I evaluate a manufacturer? What should I ask before placing an order? How can I make buying decisions that support my margins without losing sight of quality?
The tour brings those questions into real sourcing environments, with hands-on guidance along the way.
Why sourcing strategy matters
A supplier relationship can influence far more than the price of a product. It can affect packaging, production planning, product consistency, and your ability to meet customer expectations.
China offers access to a wide range of manufacturing capabilities and product categories. The opportunity is not simply to buy more. It is to buy with a clearer strategy and build relationships that support the future of your business.
Tour dates and investment
Tours are planned for October 2026 and May 2027. The investment is $10,200 per person for either tour.
The price includes airfare, accommodations, meals, and visa costs, along with five days of guided sourcing and business education, factory and market visits, supplier introductions, and hands-on sourcing support.
Private consulting and sourcing support are also available throughout the year.
